My private studies included research on parapsychology, a variety of spiritual approaches and healing modalities.
My main research in the past 20 years was around the concepts of Awareness and Consciousness.
I grew up in Pretoria, South Africa, where I studied for 15 years at various universities. I attained three degrees in Psychology and Philosophy, as well as a Master’s degree in Philosophy in 1993. During this time I studied the works of Gustav Jung and Heidegger and these studies had a huge influence on my perspectives of life.
From 1989, I ran a very successful candle business, and from 1993 I built and managed a theatre restaurant, where I was both chef and manager until 2022.
In 1998, I became a Reiki master and practised until 2014, when I had my first plant journey using ayahuasca. I have done a total of 13 journeys using various healing plants. These experiences taught me to move beyond consciousness whilst I remain fully aware. These things formed me into the healer and teacher I am today.
